Rachel Steiner, LMHC

I am a child and adolescent therapist committed to helping children, adolescents, and emerging adults cope with what can be an incredibly stressful and confusing chapter of life. I recognize that this period of life is uniquely demanding and that support in coping with a variety of challenges can go a long way. I am passionate about helping kids, teens, and emerging adults process difficulties related to mental health, practice strategies, and learn how to build meaningful connections.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. John Fisher University. My clinical focus and expertise is in working with children, adolescents, and emerging adults up to the age of 25. My experience as a therapist includes working in both the private practice setting and the outpatient clinic setting.

I utilize an integrated approach to therapy, combining a variety of treatment modalities including person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), biofeedback, the emotional freedom technique (EFT or tapping), and creative arts. My experience includes, but is not limited to, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma or adjusting to stressful life events, and difficulties within relationships or with communication skills. I value taking the time to build rapport in order to establish a comfortable atmosphere with each of my clients. If my approach aligns with your goals for treatment, please select the “Book with Rachel” option below and enter my name. I will reach out to you to gather more information and see if we would be a good fit!
